This week in writing we are writing poems. Our goal was: Use language that is suitable to the topic and purpose.

We had the choice of 4 different types of poems. Haiku, rhyming poem, riddle poem and a shape poem. I chose to do a haiku poem about lockdown.

 This week for writing we were writing poems about Ngai Tahu and something about Christchurch, this was a fun task because I don't usually like writing poems.

 This weeks writing went on over 2 weeks, we had to write an article for the Kaupeka newspaper. I=The article had to relate to our turangawaewae, I wrote about the haka.

Hansel and Gretel Writing 1st Week of Term 3

For writing this week it was based on Hansel and Gretel.

Writing Term 2 Week 3

For the third week of term two I was doing complex sentences for writing. I chose to do a movie and write complex sentences about each character, I chose the Spongebob movie.
If you wondering what a complex sentences is it is a sentence that has one independent clause and one dependent clause in it. In more basic language it is a sentence that has one sentence that can make sense by itself and one part that has something that doesn't make sense by it self.

Writing Week 1 Of Term 2

Welcome to another writing blog post,
This week wad the first week of Term 2. We were doing work online at home it has been alright so far.
For writing we had to to present three things to remember when your giving feedback to someone, or replying to someones feedback that they might have left on your work.

This week in writing it was all about editing and rewriting we got told thees two acronyms CUPS and ARMS. Our create task was to do something on our chrome books to shoe what CUPS and ARMS meant, I did an acrostic poem.
