Narrative Organiser (T2 W10)

My goal for writing this week was to use language features specific to the purpose of the text.

Our create task was to write a narrative using the organiser/planner I used a story I had written from a while ago.




What do you like to write about?

Decimals and Whole Numbers

My goal this week was to use a broad range of strategies to solve multiplication and division problems with whole numbers and decimals.


I did the strategy doubling and halving for the division, and for the multiplication I did place value.

Summarising (T2 Wk9)

My goal this week was summarising,

Identify some text events and features, and discuss what they make the reader think about.

Identify at least one important idea and justify why it is important. 

Identify several ideas, discuss the author's stance or purpose, and understand relationships in the text.

For the create task we had to fill in a slide about the book.

Narrative Writing Plan (T2 Wk9)

For writing we had to plan out a narrative I did mine story about a group of girls and them in woods.

Reading Challenge (T2 Wk8)

For reading this week we had to complete as many reading challenges from a selection as we could I completed 3 challenges.

The first one was an A-Z word challenge
I did this with the book "Wheres Grandma?"

The second was a wanted poster
I read the book "The Great Paper Caper" and did a wanted poster for the bear who was stealing the wood.


For the third challenge I did a new book cover for the book "!"

Narrative Writing (T2 Wk8)

For writing this week we had to write a narrative about a topic of pour choice. My story was about a girl who goes to mall and lots of things go wrong.

Maths Strategies (T2 Wk8)

This week we were doing maths using many different strategies. For the create task we had to create a DLO showing  at least two different strategies we used.
